dc.description.abstractThe paper presents selected results of an em- pirical research related to attitudes of students of management, nautical and students of environmen- tal protection, in relation to introducing a ecology course and environmental education. Also, one of the goals of the research, was to examine the habits, behavior and knowledge in the domain of environ- mental protection. It was found that the subjects, students of environmental protection are consid- ered, that classes related to ecology and environ- mental education need to be introduced into the education system of the Republic of Serbia, starting from the primary education, secondary to higher education and that it would contribute to the devel- opment of environmental awareness and behavior would be great. It was also found that respondents, students of management, in a small percentage un- derstand the issues related to environmental educa- tion.sr
