Heavy metals are significant environmental pollutants because they represent potential metabolic inhibitors. A study was conducted where the content of heavy metals in the wheat steam was examined, as well as the height of the plants from the soil level to the top of the highest coot. The aim of the research was to determine the content and influence of heavy metals on steam development in the Pobeda and Ljiljana varieties. An experiment was set up in pots where two different concentrations of a mixture of heavy metals 250ppm and 500ppm were added under controlled conditions.sr
